Our diverse range of operational security services

There are currently no legislative requirements for Stewards, however we comply with BS8406:2003 – Event Stewarding and Crowd Safety Services. Almost all our Stewards either hold an SIA licence or have completed a Door Supervisors training course but until they receive their licence work as Stewards. So you can be assured that our Stewards are some of the best trained in the industry.
SIA Licenced personnel
Main duties include:
SIA Security licence is a lower level licence than a Door Supervisors licence; therefore we only train our staff to the higher level of SIA Door Supervisor. Our customers benefit from the supply of better trained staff and at no extra cost, purely because this licence allows greater flexibility within our business.
SIA Licenced personnel or competent persons (provided temporary traffic order(s) are in place)
Main duties include:
The primary use of Community Safety Accreditation is to fulfil the role formerly performed by the police for unplanned situations on the highway i.e. traffic light failure. It is a little known fact that Community Safety Accredited staff are not a legal requirement for traffic management. In most instances a temporary traffic order will need to be in place and this allows any competent person to perform this duty (unless exceptionally a traffic order specifies the use of Community Safety Accredited staff). As our company has no wish to perform unplanned highway duties we have decided not to pursue this accreditation currently, but instead to concentrate just on event management responsibilities.

One of our Directors is also a specialist in the teaching of Conflict Resolution and the Management of Aggression, which entails all methods of resolution of situations from verbal up to physical restraint. We have an in-house training program which delivers this and other specialised training acquired and adapted over many years of change in the industry.
